Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis has been practised since the very early days of human civilisation across the world, in ancient Rome, Egypt, India and China. Its fate has gone up and down throughout the history with its reputation oscillating between miracle and witch-craft. Since the dawn of the 20th century, hypnosis has received renewed attention, not only from medical practitioners but from neuroscientists too. Thanks to modern technology, it has now been proven that “trance” state does exist and our brains go through some fascinating changes under hypnosis. Nowadays, hypnotherapy is becoming more and more accepted as an evidence based healing method for a variety of physical and psychological sufferings.
